She is also mother to twin boys Hunter and Jake, 31, whom she adopted when she was 19, after marrying her first husband, football player Matthew Martinez in 1993. (They divorced in 1996.)

“I always wanted to be a mother when I was young,” she says of having her first children during her career. “When I had twins it was amazing. I grew up around them. Seeing Jake and Hunter grow into the men they are today makes me happy.”

She was also very proud to be a (adorable!) grandmother in 2025 when her son Hunter and his wife welcomed a baby boy.

“My grandson Nico is sweet!” he says. “She already has eight teeth, and she’s very smart and a great dancer. It’s special to see your child become a wonderful parent. The love in their home is special, and I spend as much time as I can with them.”

After his successful career in the 1990s, he says he is enjoying a quiet life in the south.

“I like solitude and I’ve always been lonely,” she says. “I live life at a much more natural pace than I did in the 90s. I’m thankful that I was busy, but I was away from my sons Jake and Hunter more than I wanted to be. With Ciel and Rex I feel like I’ve had a lot of family and work balance. “

He is also setting an example.

“My day is simple,” she says. “Being a mom, working out and working out pretty much define my days. Someone once said that you spend the first 40 years earning, and the last 40 years getting easier. I still love the fashion business, but I love coming home to my family.”
