The Disney World visitor is suing the theme park behemoth and local law enforcement, as well as accusing members of the protestors of refusing to call 911 when he asked, according to the lawsuit.
Halen Holton, of Missouri, said in court that she had a “medical emergency” that left her feeling like her body was “shutting down” during a visit to the park last year.
Instead of receiving medical attention, he was arrested.
According to an Orange County Sheriff’s Office arrest report, officers took Holton into custody on the evening of April 11, 2025.
Holton was charged with causing a disturbance by shouting in a public area of the Magic Kingdom and given a trespass warning.

After she refused to leave, Holton allegedly resisted attempts to arrest her by pushing and pulling. That led to him being charged with misdemeanor failure to warn, disorderly conduct and resisting an officer without arrest.
However, in his lawsuit, Holton said he was asking the officers to give him medical attention during the arrest.
The lawsuit says Holton arrived at the park after a late-night flight with a missed flight.
While at the resort, a “domestic violence” incident occurred, prompting Holton to flee on a bus.
Eventually, the staff ordered a third-party taxi to take him back to his car, advising him to leave, he says.
It was later that evening, after checking into the resort hotel, that Holton began to experience symptoms of confusion, feeling faint, weak and overheated, his lawsuit alleges.
“I couldn’t use my phone or do anything,” he is quoted as saying in the documents.

However, when he asked the bus driver for help, Holton said he told him he had to finish his work.
According to him, other employees “laughed and belittled” his concerns even though he told them he had “medical problems with more than 10 doctors.”
Police eventually arrived at the scene and began interviewing her for signs, Holton said.
When Holton tried to leave, the officer stopped him. After he told his sister to film the incident, Holton was arrested, his trial charges.
Finally, he was allegedly placed in an air-conditioned police car.
Holton wrote: “I really thought I was going to die, my body felt so lifeless. I started saying hello on the dashcam.”
During the arrest, officers suggested the medical emergency may have been caused by an “undisclosed amount of money,” although Holton said he did not take drugs.
The lawsuit says Holton was taken to the Orange County Jail.

Holton claims that her clothes were torn at the facility and that she used “dirty toilet water” to keep cool.
When he was given new clothes, Holton said he had an “accident” which he is accused of doing on purpose.
The following evening, Holton said his bond was adjusted and he was released.
When he first came out of his cell, he was locked in the back of the room and forced to erase the words “911 help” that he had written on the door.
After getting out of jail, he drove to Daytona Advent Hospital.
Holton said she has a past medical history that includes “organ dysfunction, complicated pregnancies and chronic pain.”
Her sister also showed signs of confusion during the incident, according to the lawsuit.
