A flight attendant gives the worst performance they’ve ever seen when a passenger tries

If you think that people can be disgusting on airplanes, the flight attendants can guarantee that they will see things that will make you reconsider the way you fly and if you want to get on the plane again.

Flight attendants are no stranger to strange experiences – especially when they spend hours in the company of hundreds of people every day. But between the good interactions and the friendly exchanges are moments that are memorable for all the disgusting reasons.

Travel + Leisure produced a video that asked cabin crew about their best insight into airline life, and some of the interviewees recalled harrowing incidents — including some that show just how dirty airplanes can be.

Joy, a six-year-old flight attendant, told the story of the worst thing she’s seen mid-flight: “The worst thing I’ve seen is someone putting their feet on the tray table.”

But it gets worse: “I’ve actually had someone stand up, their pants fall down, and they sit down in the seat without pulling their pants – in the seat. It’s cleaned between flights. It’s fine. But they’re bare bum…”

He also talked about another common practice he sees: “Please don’t let your child go to the bathroom with no shoes on. There’s pee everywhere. It’s not your living room. It’s not – this plane. It’s not your house. It’s not your bed.”

One flight attendant, Luke, explained in detail his process of preparing his flight seat for use. He approaches his chair with Clorox washcloths and runs it through, from top to bottom, making sure to clean the tray table as well.

In addition to these reports of unpleasant incidents, the flight attendants mentioned certain moments that they hoped would prompt passengers to think about their behavior on flights, as small mistakes can affect the experiences of staff and passengers.

Amara, who has been working in the industry for three years, says that passengers often like to tell him that they know how things should be done in an airplane, because they fly all the time.

However, these passengers are often the most annoying and end up doing annoying things like making phone calls in the air.

After four years of experience, Jorge highlighted the biggest mistake he sees riders make on a regular basis. For him, it is assumed that the flight attendants will help the passengers to lift the bag in the bins above the seats. In most airlines, they are forbidden to do so because of the physical danger it may pose to them.

If you realize it’s too late that you went a little overboard with parking, the staff can arrange to be checked, instead, Jorge added.

A flight attendant recently told eShores about the little lies they tell passengers, for their benefit.

They said: “When a business class passenger asks for coffee on a night flight, I will make decaf coffee just so they can sleep.”

But that’s not the only lie riders can encounter. Airplane cabins are notoriously cold, but if you ask the attendants to warm them up a bit, you may be turned away.

They admitted: “When passengers ask for the room temperature to be raised, we lie and say yes, we will raise it, but in reality we don’t because the ride is warm.”
