EasyJet has launched new flights from Manchester Airport to the beautiful Mediterranean city which boasts 300 days of sunshine.

The charming city of Montpellier in the south of France often flies under the radar compared to tourist destinations like Paris, but it shouldn’t be overlooked. The city offers an escape from the crowds and a peaceful atmosphere amidst medieval buildings, lively squares and fine restaurants.

Montpellier is often known as one of the sunniest places in France, with an average of 300 days of sunshine a year and summer sunshine of around 10 hours a day. The Mediterranean climate offers mild winters, as well as hot, dry summers, so you’ll rarely need to worry about rain, with temperatures reaching 18C or 21C in April.
