The Affordable Art Fair returns to Brisbane in May

Do you always find yourself fixing an empty space on your wall with nothing to fill? Original art is always a valuable investment for any interior space, but when it comes to dollar for dollar pricing, it may not always be possible. With prices rising everywhere from the bowser to the grocery store, every penny counts more than ever. So it’s a great time for the Affordable Art Fair to return to Brisbane for 2026, helping you decorate your space with beautiful handmade art without the usual cost.

From May 7 to 10 at Brisbane’s Bowen Hills Exhibition Centre, you can discover thousands of pieces from 55 independent galleries from around Australia, with works of art ranging from $100 to $10,000. It’s an event where people can connect with artists, talk to galleries, discover art they really love, and have it packaged and taken home on the same day. In addition, there will also be exhibitions of painting and a framed sculpture erected by the famous artist Jason Parker.
