Zendaya Gives the Last Thing Old, New, Borrowed and Blue at ‘The Drama’ Press Tour

That’s a wrap on “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” for Zendaya.

The Emmy Award-winning actress and fashion icon has perfected her razor style The drama of world press tour from the New York premiere at the Regal Union Square on Thursday night at the Schiaparelli with Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

Zendaya stars opposite Robert Pattinson in A24’s Dramaa film about a happily engaged couple whose relationship is put to the test when the bride’s unexpected revelation sends their wedding weekend off the rails. As a play on the plot — and perhaps as a shock to the news that she’s newlywed after marrying longtime love Tom Holland — Zendaya and her stylist Law Roach created a series of looks that fit the wedding tradition of “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.” It’s a well-known combination that, according to Victorian-era codes, is meant to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck to the couple.

Her “old thing” came courtesy of Vivienne Westwood’s dress that she wore first in Los Angeles after she wore it to the first Academy Awards in 2015. Zendaya wore “something new” at the Paris premiere in a classic Louis Vuitton dress with a cut-out back and a huge black bow that doubles as a train. “Borrowed item” debuted in the film Rome with a dress borrowed from Cate Blanchett’s wardrobe designed by Giorgio Armani Privé. The Oscar winner recently wore the dress in an Italian city at the opening night of the Venice Film Festival in August 2025. But while she was holding on to a full “borrowed” style, Blanchett also wore it in front of her at the SAG Awards in 2022.

Roach just spoke to Hollywood Reporter about their style of dressing and why it makes sense for his films like Dune, Challengers even more. (Watch the video here.) Expect to see a lot more from Zendaya and Roach in 2026, as the actress has an incredible slate of new releases. Next up is the long-awaited third season of Euphoria on April 12. Now Zendaya will be about three months before Christopher Nolan The Odyssey hits theaters on July 17. Two weeks later, the much-anticipated fourth Spider-Man the film starring Holland will be released on July 31, followed by the third Dune installment, which is scheduled to be released on December 18.

Zendaya recently Fandango he hopes that “people don’t understand me,” and that he jokingly plans to “hide a little bit” after new projects come out. “Thank you to everyone who supports films or supports my work in any way,” he said. “Thank you very much, and like I said, I hope you won’t hurt me this year, because, I’ll tell you what, I’m disappearing a little. I’m going to have to hide for a while.”

Drama will begin on Friday, April 3.
